I've an APS UPS 600 - I got it cause the batteries were duff - APS wanted £300 to service it.  When opened they were only standard 'security alarm' type.  Replaced with a few new ones from A&A and hasn't stopped yet after two years.

I wrote a script to simulate clustering and failover. - Has sorted me out a
couple of times when the UPS supporting the Homeseer machine has failed.
(anyone know where to get replacement batteries for an APC UPS?)
