Now there's something I've been wondering. After all the investment
plumbing in all the CAT5 cable and the rest of the stuff, Joe Public
who then comes to look at your house in 4 years time is very likely
to have next to no interest in this. It's not a feature he'll want to pay
ANYTHING for. In a while, when this becomes more common,
perhaps, but I don't see it right now. I don't see how I'd be in a
particularly strong position to increase the house price because of
it.

I would like to state that I've only just bought my first house in the
past 3 months, so I'm a newbie at this game. It's just a thought
that struck me in the past 4-5 months that I've become interested
in home automation (spot the timing coincidence there?! d:)
