Hi all,

I'm new to this group, but not new to the automatedhome.co.uk site
which i check avidly for changes every day. I checked the group but
couldn't (easily) find what i'm about to ask...

I need help with products. I've moved into a house which i want to
transform with HA, AV, security, lighting, telephony, etc.. but don't
know what products to go for. I am able to cable, program and install
myself and am very technical (read techie!).

So far I have:

Computers
=========
W2k server configured with NAT to local network (fixed and wireless)
with high availability SAN for backup, NTL broadband (shared in house
via network)

AV
==
Temporary home cinema in lounge, with NTL digital, DVD, PS2 presented
on a 42" plasma via AV receiver

Control
=======
Mulitple X10 products, though no need to keep these in my final
overall solution

Space
=====
Large 4 bed house, going into loft for dedicated home cinema, plus
large cupboard (almost a room in fact!!) for the control systems

Any help would be gratefully receieved!!

Keith
