Ahh.. So what is the difference between mk1 and mk2 for the end user?
OR is it just an internal rebuild to incorporate the IR return onboard?

Yes, I had not seen that at the time.
The IR detector thingy is butt-ugly though isn't it? ;)

So a dual (non blink - whatever that is) was okay?
How was the dual blink "iffy" - unreliable?

Indeed, but that is still lightyears away unfortunately, and some of us
need
solutions NOW :/
