Unfortunately I imagine you probably couldn't even source the rack case for
£60,
let alone the components (which are pretty expensive when you add them all
up).

Did you see the video I made of the UKHA meet? - The first section has
Keith
talking about the Kat5 units and a bit about the switcher :-)

Subject: [KAT5] Price of the switcher?

Whats the price likely to be for the up and coming switcher when it
arrives?

Cause am thinking of just getting a couple of pairs of RX/TX pairs and
blugging them into a remotcontrol scart switcher for about 3 pounds. I was
thinking a couple of these and an iteligent program writtin on a pc to
control them via IR.

Would the base setup of the switcher be under £60? hopefully alot less?

Otherwise I'll stop awaiting it and get down to buying the remote scart
switchers, a couple of scart splitters, and some RX/TX units.

Hoping to have this working by the end of the summer holidays, becuase I am
off to Uni in september and I wanted it all installed in the family home
before then.

Thanks

Steve
