RE: KAT5 Cases

Hi Frank,

Do you know who the manufacturer is ?

Its the right sort of size but the removeable panels look to be plastic and
the case is white.

The cases I use for KAT5 are available in White with plastic end panels or
Black with aluminium end panels. The vast majority of people have specified
that they want black.

Thanks

Keith

Sure,

The existing cases are 35mm x 160mm x 90mm

I am looking for something about the same size and cost but the OTHER WAY
ROUND !

By that, I mean the orientation of the removeable panels. The ends of the
current boxes are the 35 x 90 faces, I need to be able to mount the
connectors on the 35 x 160 mm face.

The existing cases were chosen specifically because of the removeable end
panels which allow for easy machining of the connector plates. It also
means
that I can get loads of connector plates made in advance without having to
buy and store lots of cases.

To date the only cases I have found that have a removeable panel of the
size
I want tend to be about 200mm deep and cost 3 or 4 times the existing
ones.

Keith

Is it possible to give a set of requirements/dimensions for the case so
anyone here or on UKHA_D could help track one down?

Thanks

M
