It's the Iiyama AS4431D which can be had from simply.co.uk for 680 + VAT.
I bought it primarily as a PC monitor with a DVI output & it was
17.4
instead of 17 inch - this is why it is more expensive than most 17"
displays.
You can cheaper ones - eg the 4332 from dabs.com which also have composite
out.
Iiyama always get good write-ups in the the PC world for decent quality at
a
reasonable (for LCD's!) price.

KAT-5 wise, am rockin & rollin now that I have added an extra
terminating
resistor. Am just waiting for instructions from Keith to remove internal
termination to resolve brightness issues due to said termination!
