Nick,

I can hand build an MCA by fitting Phono's to the end plates.
Let me know what you want eg, 2 channel, 4 channel or 2 channels each
way.

Patch leads from Rapid Electronics 01206 751166. That price was for
3m. The shorter ones are even cheaper. Choice of colours as well.

For your LINN stuff I would recommend using 2 different colours other
than what you normally use. eg

Grey - PC network
Blue - KAT5 (same wiring just different useage)
Red - Linn "A End"
Yellow - Linn "B End" (The flipped end)

That way you know which modified lead is which !
Also mark the end of the cable on which you have replaced the plug by
a non-standard pinout as the LINN END as opposed to House Wiring end.

Good Luck.

A CAT5 tester with LED indication of pinout could be a VERY
worthwhile investment. Rapid sell several different types for between
50-75 quid.

Keith
