My Kat5 unit arrived on Friday and i now have the 'whole house' audio i've
always wanted and the quality is great.

A bit of soldering is needed before the install is finalised but a quick
question in the meantime - the Kat5 takes video (out from main tv scart)
and
audio (rec out from Hi-fi allowing either TV or CD sound to be sent using
the Amps rec out switching) from the living room to the kitchen at th far
end of the flat. In the kitchen the reciever will be connected to a
portable
telly and another hi-fi. There are 3 good quality audio co-ax leads running
between them through the ceiling (about 8m long) - will the video or audio
survive a run of this length best?

i'll probably try it both ways and test but thought i'd ask first

Simon
