Less light = less consumption/ LEDs do not have the power to be decent area
lighting required in an industrial setting.

Come back when they have actually improved the efficiency over CFL.

Now don't go stating the efficiency garbage they try to give the public.
Give us real efficiencies of finished product bulbs in white light, not the
efficiency of a silicon IC chip without any ballast, diffusion filter, lens
and other paraphernalia to make an actual installable **WHITE**  light bulb.
I doubt the real figures are public.  They don't want the consumer to know
why those huge heat sinks are necessary to stop the LED from burning itself
out in a few days. ALl they have, so far it lasts 20,000 hours if you don't
abuse it. Oh yeah.... high grid voltage, installation in an enclosed pot
lamp or other holder, bad grid waveforms and many other factors may void
your fictitious warranties.

I prefer to see with some real warm lighting and not squint and carry a
flashlight to read things in a thin, glittering "diamond ring sales"
pinpoint  high glare lighting.
