Sure. Why not?? Brinks is even now considering their "strategy" for
the New Year. They successfully managed to ban Jim Rojas from posting
his tech-help software because (so they say) it reveals their "trade
secrets" and violates their "intellectual property" rights. Tech-Help
*is* available for download at
http://www.yoursecuritysource.com/faqs.htm for anyone interested.
Brinks Lawyers tried to have my website shut down too. You can view
their efforts at http://www.tech-man.com.
Brinks does NOT manufacture their own panels. They have a "patent" on a
keypad they use (and even that is manufactured by Scantronic. Their
newest panels are all "dumbed down" Honeywell "Vista" products. Even
their manuals (both installation and end-user) have copyright through
Honeywell.
