Power Failure with Home Automation

I am planning to connect two pool pumps to Homeseer software with a
relax fixture module and contactor module
(http://store.homeseer.com/store/Fixture-Modules-C101.aspx ).

What position will these modules default to after a power failure?  How
do I resolve/control this in software?
