Indeed, it is a matter of public record that you were *not* the person who
"initiated those discussions".
See the thread ' "All Housecode" RF Receiver ??? ' at the url and quoted below

This was about 2-1/2 years before you state that you began work on your
version !
You made exactly 1 out of the 17 posts to the thread. Your only contribution
was about the CM11a and you seemed to have zero interest in the RF aspects --
certainly no contributions.
Why do you continue to make false, self-agrandizing statements?
Do you understand that you are digging your hole deeper?

I wonder why they don't make an "ALL Housecode" X10 RF Receiver. I have
the need for four separate 16-Unit (1 House code!) Receivers, one for
Occupancy sensors, one for Upstairs Lights, one for Downstair Lights,
and one for misc. things like macros. I wonder why these RF receivers
are only designed to communicate on ONE housecode. ????

My current solution to this problem has been to write software that
handles this problem. My software is not complete yet, it's for Linux
and it looks like Daniel D. Lanciani x10d. (For those of you using
Dan's software who could get it to compile but not working contact me
and I'll send the diff's).
Basically what I do is listen for a signal from one of the remotes and
act upon it. I think this can be done with the Active Home Software
also.

Yes. For Windows and Windows95, it is very easy to interface with the CM11A
through the X10COMM.EXE communications bridge using any windows programming
language. See the X10COMM.HLP file in the ActiveHome directory. For simple
applications, you can send direct commands to any unit via the command line.
For more sophisticated control, you can use Windows messaging for full 2-way
communications including instant notifications from the CM11A of any status
changes. It's very nicely done.

Does this imply that there were bugs? :)

Perhaps not. There is only one RF frequency that I know of - house
codes are simply different digital prefixes similar to device codes.
The CM11 receives and transmits all house codes, but you need a
computer to program it. Is this what you have in mind?

Yes, I know exactly what you're asking. The closest product I've seen is
the Mega-36 X10 Remote and Mega-36 Base/Repeater. I think this is made
by NuTone. HAS carries it. The Remote controller can control up to 32 X10
commands on two (2) consecutive X10 house codes. The Base unit receives
RF signals from the Mega-36 Remote and converts them to X10 commands.
It's not clear if the base unit is "code-settable" to a 2-house-code sequence
or if it simply converts them all (as I believe you wanted). If it does
(convert all house codes) then the only catch is that you have to use the
Mega-36 remotes. But they appear to be a "steal" at 3 for $25.50 each
and the base is $ 29.99. You need to contact HAS technical support for
information about the base. And if they don't know, get the vendor tech
support number from them. Here's their web page on these Mega
products.

Let me know how this turns out, I have been slightly interested in these
Mega products too. (And Worthington doesn't carry them).

Thanks! Someone does know what I'm looking for after all!
Unfortunately, the link to the Mega-36 Base/Repeater is not working on
their webpage. I'll have to search my workshop for thier catalog.... I
just can't seem to find it! :~{

Well, might as well save some time. I contacted Home Automation Systems
technical support about the Base receiver for the Mega-36. It only responds
to ... TWO (2) consecutive house codes. (Booooooo Hisssssss). I have to
agree with you that this is really bogus that you have to buy so many
RF receivers to cover a decent spectrum of X10 house codes. That makes
at least 2 of us who are interested in getting a RF-to-X10 converter that
works with the whole X10 spectrum. (Which in my opinion, should have
been designed for this since day one !!!).
By the way, Tom, the HAS catalog is "online". You can peruse i
dynamically (slow) or download it for review on your system locally:
