Re: control power to cable modem?



I have a x-10 appliance module connected to my DSL router's power cord.
There was a time a few months back, that the connection would go bad every
couple days, so with a script, I  power off the router and then power it on
again in the middle of the night.  The downtime is only a minute or so, but
I know that the network will be back in a day if I'm out of town.
