getting inside X-10 DS7000 controller

Can anyone tell me how to get the case apart on my DS7000? I want to
add a switch to disable the siren. I can only find one screw in the
battery compartment.

I wonder too, if the DS7000 is compatible with the components in the
Radio Shack Security System 49-1000.
