assistance checking network speeds

Greetings I just rewired my house with Leviton products (very easy to
understand set-up, by the way) to have a hardwired network.  I want to
test my internal network wiring speed.  I have confirmed that all my
connections are live using my circuit tester, now how do I check
speeds?  Is there a tool in Windows XP?
