   actually happened to me..
Got a call later in afternoon.
Customer advising me a beeping / tone was sounding and they couldn't
find it...
They said it sounded like a fire alarm, but they couldn't find any smoke..
I made a quick dash over to their house..
While checking their house I could hear the sound..
Was able to locate it's source, a battery powered toy flute was under
a bed with a shoe on top of one of the keys....

Well  a lot of sheepish look were all around....

Never did get paid for that service run...   ;-)
