All you can do is try to check it out when your are buying something. I try=
 to do it as much as is possible. It's just a small effort on my part that =
makes me feel better. I think that I am part of a waning generation of peop=
le who are patriotic. This present generation has not experienced any confl=
ict that would stir them to be patriotic, or to have any interest in the hi=
story that has occured, that allows them to be indifferent to the uniquenes=
s of this American experiment. Every one loves to be free but you can't for=
get what it cost and to value it. Is that the definition of patriotism?

Perhaps when they begin to suffer the consequences of their indifference, s=
ome form of patriotism will arise. The freedom to be indifferent is great u=
ntil you don't have that freedom anymore. The big question is ---- will it =
be to late?=20

I always think of this when I see what's happening today
