My guess is that your seeing the "harmonic convergence" of the
interference signal from different sources.

which is letting that 1.6 % signal get through..

which then causes your video crash..

Like I said though,  that's just my guess.. ;-)

I like to remember that only Engineers get the 100%, people in the real
world have to be happy with 80-90 %..
