Re: looking for HDMI and hard to find cables found a good site

Good deal for you Bob...

I'm not so forgiving when it comes to a company seeking my personal info
for no apparent reason...

Ha! A while back Petra cancelled my credit and didn't tell me. Their
website processed my order. When I realized that I wasn't getting my stuff
I ordered it all someplace else. They called me and asked if I wanted to
pay for the order with a credit card, and I asked them when I had last been
late on a payment with them. They asked if I wanted to send in a new credit
ap. Nope. I got hung on a couple jobs because you screwed up. Not
interested. A couple days later they called back and said my credit had
been reopened whenever I needed to order anything. I never filled out a new
credit ap or gave them a new credit card. Yeah it was a screw job at first,
but they took the initiative to make it right with me. Can't say that about
a lot of companies.

DBL for example. They cancelled my credit because I didn't buy enough from
them. I had purchased about $20K from them that year. I expected that sort
of thing from them sooner or later after they were bought out by Ingram
Micro. The funny thing is they had increased my credit limit not that many
months previously so I could get what I needed from them without playing
games. DBL/Ingram Micro can join Gaybar in the hall of infamy. Ingram
Micro has been a chicken shit outfit since the mid or late '90s when they
not only instituted minimum large annual purchase requirements in order to
buy from them at all, but also started charging to process credit
applications. (Not a pittance either. Seems I recall it was several
hundred dollars)

Anyway. I haven't had any further issues with Petra. I place an order.
Five days later it arrives on my door step. 30 days later I pay them.
