Disclaimer: I know the designers well and beta tested it
It's obvious they know little if anything about it, I'm not big on all-
in-one systems but it's the best out there now bar none.
The touchscreen interface is extremely well laid out and far easier to
use than any panel out there, very few calls on user functions
compared to the other guys because of that.
No reliability issues which is rare for a new panel
Uses 2GIG (made by Linear) or standard Honeywell 5800 sensors.
Integrated Z-Wave with good home automation functions, can handle over
200 thermostats, lights or door locks
Alarm.com cellular (actually 2GIG makes the card, Alarm.com supplies
the SIM card) remote access and control
And if you want to really know the panel's impact it's the reason why
GE released a graphic keypad for the Simon and Honeywell released the
Lynx Touch, everyone was caught flat-footed with that panel's release.
