Don't use hex editor to change the keypad message.

Using Napco Quickloader software:

    1. Select Area Assignment.
    2. Click on the Area Descriptions tab
    3. Edit entries for Ready Message: Line 1 and Line 2
    4. Hit OK

Save your work and download to the panel.
