I think your doing fine this whole low cost- Monitor or no monitor
thing always brings out debate as does the so called free systems.

One of the things I often thought about if I ever made it big was to
be able set up a foundation to grant alarms ,electrical work, furnaces
etc. to those who really needed it and pay local dealers a fair buck
to do it.
I try and help those I can but now I am very limited what I can do.

One thing you have to keep in mind there's low cost and affordable and
there's just out right cheap skates. who will spend nothing.
I try to help when I can when I can not I can not.

I have a customer right now who is doing a nice job of converting a
old house into his real estate office and upstairs apartment.
and he likes toys so I managed to get him some at a good cost. Why?
because in the long run its good show case and reference for me. Plus
when he needs more work he will remember and call me.
When they think you charge too much or ripping them off they never
call back . I have customers going on 30 years
I have provided services for.
