Re: Bosch CCTV distance dilemna



I assume you're using passive video baluns to run the video over the
Cat3?  1500ft. is a bit long for passive, you may need to go to active
baluns to get clear video.  1500 shouldn't be too bad for serial
control, as long as you're terminated properly... are they running
RS-242/422, or RS-485?

Try popping over to www.cctvforum.com with your question, there are a
lot more people there who are experienced in this area.
