Unfortunately, the customer would still be subject to Brink's PSA. I'm
no fan of Brinks, but to post this kind of crap without providing a
little more in the way of information is almost as bad as selling Napco
two wire smoke detectors with a DSC or Ademco panel (on the surface one
is much like the other but they are NOT compatible).

You fail to mention that, but for a very few instances, a Brinks
customer does not own the equipment installed in their house. The
customer would still be obligated to Brinks for their monthly fee unless
they canceled their contract (the cancellation clause is spelled out in
the PSA). Purchasing any number of the units you mention would be
fairly useless as Brinks would (in all likelihood) remove their
equipment upon receipt of the cancellation notice. This would leave the
customer with a communicator but no system.

If you're going to "advocate" for this company, then please don't just
repeat the blurb on their website. It doesn't apply to a customer
that's locked in to an equipment rental agreement with a multi-national
company (that has deep "legal pockets") for the long term.
