Re: LOCKED PANEL

True, but it's a dirty trick of exactly the sort we expect from
Sonitrash (they often did it), Brinks and lowlife independant outfits
like Jiminex.

I used to make it a point to attend "open houses" whenever any of my
clients were selling. I frequently found Sonitrash stickers on
panels I installed. I would of course remove them. I also made sure
my decals and business cards were on the panel door and inside the
cabinet.

Napco allows a custom 2-line message to replace the standard system
ready screen. If a client informed us they were moving I would
change the screen to "For Service" and "(nnn) nnn-nnnn" (our phone
number). The keypad would alternate between the two lines.

It's not always the realtors who are at fault. Sonitrash used to
teach new salesmen to go to every open house they could find and
plaster their stickers on competitors' systems. There was an outfit
called "M&M Security" not too far from us. Their reps used to do the
same thing. They also used to bad-mouth every competitor around. I
routinely beat them on sales though. Last year (or was it the one
before last?) I got a call from a regional distributor seeking my
business. I chatted with the rep for a while and soon learned he had
once worked for M&M. I decided not to give the jerk any business.
