I'm not certain how you qualify "far worse". I can't think of anything
"far worse" than deliberately fabricating a lie about someone and
actually telling it to their employer in a bid to get them fired from
their job. Simply ignoring your past conduct isn't going to do anything
for your conscience. The fact that you "don't want to fight anymore"
just leaves the door open. I'd recommend you close that chapter for
your own peace of mind (I don't think you can expect forgiveness right
away though). What will it cost you? A little pride? A few emails?

Uh-huh... You've made numerous attempts at discrediting certain
individuals with innunendo and outright lies. It's actually turned into
a campaign of hate that's taken casualties on both sides but whom has it
really hurt the most? People have been telling you for years but you're
like a runaway horse with the bit in it's teeth. Of all the individuals
that post here, you stand to gain the most from not fighting (or picking
a fight). I applaud the fact that you won't anymore, but the fact that
you can't swallow your pride and apologize is simply setting the stage
for when *you* decide to shake things up again.

FWIW, I've never "wanted to" either but the majority of us in the trade
won't stand idly by and allow you to usurp this Group for your own
selfish ends. If you want to participate then you do it on the terms
already outlined. I figure it's time to revisit the Group's FAQ,
Robert. It's a well defined and eloquent document. I'll certainly
support it. Your participation in CHA demonstrates that you can do it too.
