Bullfrank! In all probability he'll do as
good a job or better than the local
ADT "authorized dealer" anyway.
Besides, the "liability" nonsense is
another red herring. Paid alarm
installers don't want DIYers doing this
stuff because it takes away from their
potential income.

Exactly. It's not exactly rocket science.
Just be sure to test the sensor periodically
to make certain it's OK.
