Re: home security alarm system repair

As a rule venomous snakes in North America typically don't hang out in
attics. I suspect what you saw was a variety of Rat Snake. Actually
something that is good for getting rid of rodents. I have never encounter
any snakes in an attic, but have seen the shed skins they left behind.

As for bees, they generally have a large enough swarm to see them before
getting into trouble. The hornets are another matter. For hornets the worst
offender is the AD SpeedDome Ultra with those vents (I don't know what other
vendor has vents like that, but the SpeedDome has them). Those vents allow
the devils to come and go behind the smoked glass where you never notice
them until the cover is off, and you're in trouble. It only takes one
encounter to make you remember to bring the spray if you plan on removing
the cover.
