Yes, I'm sure every one is aware that if you just ignore someone who's
breaking the law, it's a lot easier just to turn away and not say
anything,
than it is to point it out to someone. Especially if it's someone who
makes
it his personal goal to entice end users to buy parts from him by
deriding
installers and lying about his experience in the alarm trade and by
stealing
information from people to enhance his appearence to end users.

However .....That being the case with Bass .....,then "I say"
we should point out everything that this miscreant does that's wrong
and
is, or is boadering on illeagal. I can think of no better way of
helping this
guy out, then by answering his questions and also pointing out the
dangers
of  him doing business with someone who lies, cheats and steals
information
from people and distributes proprietary programs to endusers. Then if
the
end user should want to purchase equipment or needs direct help, he
can decide with ALL the information about the product and the person
who's offering help,  if he really wants to do business with someone
guilty of this kind of conduct.

That's what "I" think helping the customer is.
