Pay master Electronic Alarm?

Every once and a while I run a cross a sticker that has a start shape and
says Paymaster electronic security system in use. My one customer has an old
Paymaster check writting machine but theres nothing electronic about it
what kind of system was paymaster talking about all i have ever seen was a
sticker or was tat all it ever was.
