I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is especially sad when the one that
brought you into this world leaves it.
I too have been mystified by the irrational hatred some express towards
Bass. I have commented about it. It has been explained to me thoroughly, but
I still don't understand it. When for some reason Bass isn't posting here,
the same ones that complain about his presence seem to then complain about
his absence. For now Bass seems to have beaten back what ever has been
thrown at him health wise. I say good for him. May good health and
prosperity follow him and everyone at ASA into the New Year.

RHC: You know, when I read these kind of hateful remarks at a time of
the year when peace and love for others should prevail, I'm ashamed to
share this newsgroup with you. I just lost my mother last Thursday
evening and she died a horrible, lingering death from cancer of the
esophagus. How you or anyone could wish to hasten anyone's death -
even someone you hate obsessively - is totally beyond me.

If you really feel that way about someone you've never met, and who's
only "crime" is to do battle with you on a virtual newsgroup, then I
truly pity you. God help you; I don't think anyone else can.....
