And that single state could have been Tennessee, his home state.  If Gore
had only won his home state it wouldn't have mattered about the outcome in
Florida.  Albert Gore would be the President.

The Florida fiasco called attention to what an electoral mess it was in.  I
wonder what has been done to correct that situation in the past 7 years.
