Re: OT: Physicians for a National Health Program

He took two elections? I thought he only stole the first one from Gore. So
he stole the election from Kerry too? Now it's two for two? Did you get your
elections confused?
There is entertainment value in your observations to be sure.
I think a more accurate way to describe it is to say Gore won the popular
vote, which doesn't count. Bush won the electoral vote that did count. The
victory in the electoral vote was determined by a popular vote victory in a
single state. The margin of victory there for Bush was smaller than the
usual margin of error in calculating the vote totals. Therefore some
arbitrary or arcane system had to be decided on as a metric since up until
that time presidential elections did not have such close margins of victory.
After much legal wrangling and legal blundering on both sides, the Court
ruled in Bush's favor.
Al Gore did put the Country's interests ahead of his own by accepting the
Supreme Court's ruling favoring Bush.
The idea than a theft of any sort occurred is political sour grapes.
The margin of victory for Bush's second term was easy to discern. It was
clear that Bush won and Kerry lost. There was no theft.
I am glad you're back to posting this nonsense instead of any gloomy medical
prognostications.
