Re: NX-8 ground fault troubles
The Napco MA 3000? I wouldn't write home about it. It is the same thing
since the early 90's and is going away soon.
Honeywell has it own set of problems; different that the NX-8 but equally
irritating. The 128ma limit on the SIM loop is one big one. Ground faults
that appear when the phone line is connected when programming is another
known issue.
If you need a small inexpensive fire panel using a combo burg fire panel
might not be the best option. I have used about a 50 or so Bosch 7024 fire
panels.
