You can't say Bass is right, because he is always left on everything. In
this case he is, let us say, more accurate than usual. This case is not a
matter of speculation on Bass' or anyone's part anymore. Pleading guilty
means just that, you did it. This guy was in a position to lawyer up bigger
than OJ, but he didn't. It wasn't like he was some poor kid bewildered by
the whole thing and didn't have the money or the sense to do anything about
it. I suspect he knew more than anyone posting here about the legal system
and what would happen to him in this case. This guy represents a very
conservative state. Right or wrong, I don't think the voters of that state
would pick a gay senator, especially one that cruses public restrooms. He is
being a fraud all the way around with voters, family and friends. When was
the last time you, or anyone you know, got busted in a police undercover
sting in a public restroom, let alone plead guilty? This guy needs to move
to California or New York or somewhere like that if he wants to come out of
the stall, I mean closet, and run for a senate seat in that state. I think
he is finished where he's at. He already resigned from all his Senate
committee assignments, so what kid of job can he be doing for the voters
that put him there?
