OK.... when she was only 5 years old and living in Washington DC, her
entire family got thrown out of their house/apartment in the dead of
winter.  Her father had left them. She was the oldest of 3 children.
Their photos made the front page of the Washington Post.  And the owner
of the Washington Senators wanted to adopt her and my Aunt but not their
younger brother.  She has photos of herself as a child sitting on the
owners lap.  I do not recall at all, what his name is.  But I used to
know it by heart.
Her mother used to beat her with the heel portion of her high heels, in
public.
So rhonda, keep on whining about how hard you had it growing up. DC is
not a picnic in the dead of winter.
