You're wrong.
Dictograph in the 60's tried producing their own equipment but they
found it easier to have Ademco modify their panels into version that
were slightly different. Dictograph had their versions of the Ademco
221( I think it was the SD1 or 233)  330 332 and similar versions of
the 502 fire panel and 512 zone expander. They also used the Ademco
527 smoke detector too. Going really far back to the early 70's they
also had versons of the ademco 1000 series panels too, reversing relay
1005 and if I'm not mistaken they had a UL Ademco panel too. After
about the mid 80's I lost track of what they were doing and maybe
that's the time and equipment that you're talking about, but through a
lot of the 70's Ademco manufactured most of their equipment.
