Yes that makes him and anyone else who doles out manuals, software,
programmers, lockout codes, etc a thief Or a pirate. Whatever term you
prefer.
Taking what is not yours, without permission of the owner, and selling
it as if it's yours is one of the activities of a thief/pirate/
bootlegger.
You think Jim should get a free pass because he's a swell fella?

Unlocking proprietary boards and selling/renting programmers for those
proprietary panels is another service offered.
It's wrong and anyone with an iota of ethics knows it's wrong.
Good job poking the beehive trying to scare up some drama. This place
has been boring.
