I will challenge you to provide ANY good example of his
"contributions"  to the industry.  And while I will admit he has some
specific knowledge that was proven useful to some,  it in no way
compares to the advice I can get from the group collectively on any
given day.  Kudos to you for helping to add strife, and I think I
speak for most when I say we like it's isolationism.
