Actually, I rarely discuss politics with clients.  Sometimes I ask what they think about a news story though.  It's interesting how
many Texans (for some reason I get a lot of orders from Texas) are opposed to the Bush war.

Nah.  Most people couldn't care less what anyone else thinks, especially some salesman with a website.
