Do you mean "solicit a proposal for installing a security camera system"?

I doubt that there is one. Newsgroups typically are not for commercial
transactions. You could certainly put up a web site of your own, but then
you would have to find some way of bringing it to the attention of people.

Why not the yellow pages and call security companies in your area. It would
not be very useful to get replies for people in Australia when you are
located in Boston.

You just ask. Give the requirements that you have for your security camera
system-- will it be monitored, unmonitored, backup storage of the images,
for how long, what are the threats you want to guard against, etc.
Once you have a good idea what you feel you want, talk to a few companies,
and you can then refine what you want in light of the cost, their knowledge
etc.

Depends on what you want them to supply. Equipment only? Installation?
monitoring? tape/computer backup? ....
