You are all forgetting one important factor here when you try to relate
what the Aviation Newsgroup did and what the options are for ASA's
participants.

In the Aviation Newsgroup, he was simply a participant and had no
object to being there except that he has and interest in flying.
Ignoring him was a easy method for the other harrassed participants to
cause him to depart.

In ASA, if everyone COULD/WOULD ingore him, it would simply enable him
to do what he wants to do here and that is lie, cheat and steal and
berate installers so that end users will be convinced that most
installers are crooks so they should install their own systems. This a
an INSTALLERS Newsgroup. NOT a DIY Newsgroup.  He want's to exploit
this group and the knowledge of the other participants here. Ignoring
him simply lets him make a profit from the experience of others who are
actually actively in the installation trade and who have the latest
up-to-date information, that allows him to sell his products and
services. It also give his a souce to call installers idiots and all
the other names he uses, to get a rise out of people so he can then
point and say, SEE I told you so. As long as people want to participate
in this group ( and they do, evidenced by the years that some,
including my self, have been here) not speaking up, and objecting to
his every post and not pointing out his transgressions to each and
every end user who comes here, will simply empower him and give him
free license to do what ever he pleases and make more of a profit than
he does from being here. He knows damn well by this time, that he's
never ...... EVER going to get a free ride. Over the years the number
of people who are outwardly opposing him is gradually increasing. There
used to be only a few people who would outwardly oppose him, now,
you'll notice that there are more who explicitly combat him and
chastise him for what he does to people and to this group. And THAT is
the reason that he no longer GIVES a damn WHAT he does to the Newgroup
at this point, THAT is explicitly evidenced by his new and recent
uncaring posting of garbage from his website. Now there are so few that
DON'T object to his ruination of this Newgroup that he has very little
to lose no matter WHAT he does here. If 90% of the people object to
what he does ANYWAY, why then shouldn't he just do what ever the hell
he wants regardless of who object? The "do nothings" will still say
nothing regardless of what he does. So why shouldn't he usurp this
Newsgroup and exploit it in every way possible? And the ridiculous
thing about it all is, that he's only doing it to be the nasty rotten
son of a bitch he is. Everyone here knows that there are dozens of ways
in Usenet and the Internet that he could obtain more business. Everyone
knows that he doesn't reallY HAVE to be here if he was truly interested
in increasing the size of his business. Therefore everyone KNOWS that
he's doing what he's doing now and since the begining out of sheer
spite and contempt for the fact that he can't have his own way. He's as
nasty, loathsome and detestable jerk as ever anyone has ever seen and
he's been in the process of proving it for years in Usenet. He's been
burning bridges behind him in his personal life and here as well.

He may well continue doing what he's doing whether someone objects or
not, but you can be DAMN sure there is NEVER    E*V*E*R going to be a
time that    ***** I **** will remain silent in the face of such a
rotten son of a bitch. The only solace anyone can have here is that
everyone and anyone who comes here for information be told EXACTLY what
a sinister, detestable and hateful bastard he is.

Remain silent or ignore him ...and you may as well applaud him for what
he's done here.
