Ok, since you mentioned that you are in the trade, this is how a 4020
suppose to work.

After a system default, connect only one working kp to the bus and power up
the system, hit the # key on the kp and it should come to life, if it
doesn't, then it is very likely that the kp is defective, and I have not
seen a defective Maxsys in the last 10 years. After you have gotten the
first kp to work, you will need to enroll more kps and modules from the
first kp and assign them to zones and partitions.
