Once you have a good guess at the state, you can usually find them through
public records...if they own a house.

Also, on public records you can search for business licenses which may help
if you kinda know what the person *might* be doing these days.


Another source is social security records but unless you have connections,
you'll only find out if they're dead.

Surprisingly, I have found people just by entering their name in Google...or
at least leads to finding them. I was looking for an old college roomate.
Entered his name into google, found a teacher teaching photography in NJ
college...hmmm that sounds like it could be him..that narrowed my search
down to one state...piece o'cake from there.
