The Default IP address may not work on your network.  Find the IP info
for the laptop and input the ip,subnet mask,gateway.  Remember the ip
for the laptop and the ip for the DVR should be the same except for the
last number, it should be one number higher or lower than the laptop.
In the remote view software, you have to input the ip address for the
dvr.  You should be able to connect now
