Re: DMP Hoovers
You've got to be overlooking something or scrambling the program
somehow...I've been using DMP for 10+ years and never had probs like your
experiencing.
If you're on service or repair status you're not a full dealer yet...and you
pay higher pricing.
What happens if you power down completely for 20 sec or so, then power up,
then short J16 ?

| Actually these boards aren't locked out. I have the dealer code from the
| original installer. They lock up and quit working. I never get the
chance
| to enter the code. They just die. DMP has me measure the voltage across
a
| couple of the leads and then they pronounce the processor locked up. Not
| locked out. They say the board must be replaced. I replace it with
another
| brand. I am a servicing dealer so I can buy replacement boards, but the
| lack of cooperation or support I have received along with other behavior
has
| caused me to eat the extra cash to put in something else a little better
and
| more flexible when that happens. In fact tech support is the only part of
| the company where I have received decent support from them. They can't
tell
| me why this happens though or what can be done to prevent it. The tech
guys
| just go, "well sorry."
