Bob,

With some minor modifications, you can mount the keypad to a doublegang
wiremold extension box.  I believe it fits a thin one; it sits
offcenter on the box, but it looks ok.

Or, you can blow nice big hole in back for the connector using a SDS
type drill/chisel.  Brick can be a bit of a challenge but cinder block
isn't bad.  Make the hole too big?  That's when you add a "custom
backplate" (varnished plywood) at no additional charge.  :-)
