It's the big name mentality...they will be here in 50 years, when who knows
if the little guys will be or not.

So what...a person doesn't stay in a house for more than an average of seven
years anymore anyway.

Also, a little sales pressure to close the deal before they leave the
house.

They have to because they have already told the customer the deal isn't any
good after today.

I never do that...I don't care if I have to go back 3 times to make the
client comfortable (I never really have to though). They can't do that, the
sales guys has got to close or he's wasting time. It's a numbers game for
them, the more they see the more they have a chance of closing. Whereas, if
I have the opportunity to really talk (without barking dogs, jumping cats
and screaming kids) I'll close 95%.

And for more than $99, I'll bet.

Clients also know that they can actually talk to the owner if they need
to...yes even if it's 3am...I'm here.

You mean you don't have a pre-recorded continuos loop message that says just
leave your zip code and someone will get to you next time they are in the
area.

How much is that worth? It's actually worth a heck of a lot more than I
charge p/m...more than they charge too!

Do you think the customer really appreciates it or is it what they expect
for 20 bucks a month. I do agree that is what it takes to provide good CS
but the customer never realizes it unless they have experienced the other.
