I don't use the Ademco anymore due to a change of country, however I did use
them for about 5 years in Australia.
Only problem I ever had was due to low signal strength when I had to use
inferior batteries. Changed them for Duracell and worked fine.
The Ademco range of wireless seems to need quality batts for a higher
current draw.
